The Xbox 360 Arcade System gives you direct access to the Next-Gen power of high-definition video, DVD movie playback, digital music, photos, online connectivity and of course the big Xbox 360 game that is known for, while ensuring that you keep the flexibility to choose additional features to customize the system to the needs.

The Xbox 360 Arcade console is everything you need to go to the ground running. Xbox 360 Arcade console is everything you need to start playing already available, including Family Settings that allow parents to restrict game access for younger players.

Under the Hood of Xbox 360

Xbox 360 is much smaller than the predecessor – it measures approximately 3.3 by 12.2 by 10.2 inches and weighs 7.7 lbs. It’s powered by custom IBM PowerPC-based CPU with three symmetrical cores running at 3.2 each GHz.It also carries a custom ATI graphics processor with 10 MB of embedded DRAM.

Game-to save and media storage, Xbox 360 Arcade System users can choose to remain with the Memory Unit included in the bundle, or upgrade to a better mix of 20GB hard drive or 120 GB hard drive (both sold separately). Along with the save files, hard drives will make the Xbox 360 backward compatible with most of the existing Xbox game library.

Xbox 360 Wireless Controller

The Xbox 360 Arcade System comes with one Xbox 360 Wireless Controller with rumble. Xbox 360 using the controller for the fine layout. Start button and sit back in the middle between their control and have the new Xbox Guide button, which will take users directly to the Xbox 360 user “Dashboard” interface. From there, they can check for friends online, access personal content such as digital photos songs, and more. Black and white button on the first Xbox controllers have been replaced with a button placed on the left shoulder and right trigger. Xbox 360 can accommodate up to four wireless controllers and has three USB 2.0 slots to use for the cable or controller for streaming digital media from digital camera, MP3 player, and Windows XP-based PC. Microsoft has also created a video conferencing camera, sold separately, that will work with the system.
