Free Chess Games. You’ve got right. Chess as one of the famous computer games is free to download. Some of them, at least, definitely not Chess master or similar commercial chess programs. However, a lot of those chess program are free to download and enough to make you scratch your head if your rating is 1400 or lower.

My favorite free chess games programs are Fritz, Rybka, Toga, and GNU chess. They are very good chess engines that you can download for free. I’m a little bit lazy to provide the links here but you can always search for them in the if you’re interested. You might also stumble upon the new free chess games to download in the process. New stuff will come out all the time, you know!

So, if you feel a little bit disenchanted about blogging and do not feel like tweeting, maybe you can start playing chess. It is free to download and fun to play. I am sure you will not have an easy time when playing but please refrain from hitting the monitor.
