Gears of War 3 – Game Review
Gears of War 3. Perhaps we should say that Epic Games has designed one of its greatest successes when they introduced the Gears of War (Gears) for the first time in nearly five years ago. Cliff Bleszinski and his team managed to create a game that had a gameplay is very playable (for both hardcore and casual gamers) with graphics-class champion and a strong story in shades of sci-fi setting that brings. This title is so impressive to have no doubt been used as a new standard for the genre of action / shooter since then. And it also continues when Gears of War 2 (Gears 2) was released in 2008. The sequel of this game again becomes the reason of many people to have an Xbox 360 at home.
While many gamers praising Epic permissibility in Gears creating as a game with gameplay and graphics that have the best quality, the reception was equally well received by the aspect of storytelling and characterization in it. Gears of War 3 brought the story from the perspective of a soldier hero COG (Coalition of Governments Order) Marcus Fenix and Delta Squad was unity in the battle against alien creatures called the Locust. Sci-fi theme of the story is actually not a typical new, but still able to sell through in-depth exploration of stories that worked like a movie box office, which also supported the setting and the characters are also an attraction. Here Marcus is not the only characters that seem alive, as her colleagues who are also emotionally strong in the story.
After ending that closes the second game, not a few fans who hope a lot will be further development of the series as the expected completion of this trilogy. And that expectation was realized with Gears of War 3 (Gears 3) this year. Is this sequel can surpass the standard that was created by the two previous games?
Karen Travis, a sci-fi writer who is also the author of several novels adapted version of Gears, take over tasks previously carried the story that Joshua Ortega on both games. 18 months after the resistance against the Locust in Jacinto, Marcus and COG forces are left to deal with new threats are nothing but the result of mutations of the Locust called Lambent. COG is not just about the struggle to survive, the sequel this time helped bring the story into a more subtle level. Must find the existence of Adam Marcus Fenix, scientists as well as his own father who is believed to hold the key to ending the conflict that was happening.
On the side of the story who did not want more I tell you, Gears of War 3 again entertain the fans of action and third-person shooter genre with a pivot on the strength of the gameplay is still relying on the recipe for success than the two previous games. The continuation of this to once again re-shooting display from the view point of view over-the-shoulder with the mechanism-based squad and the cover of mutual support as a force in the gameplay. Similar in outline, but following a number of improvisations done to make it more than it already is.
